We can quote 60Si2Mn bars and cut blanks to your required sizes. For flat spring parts, we confirm the width, thickness and allowed size variation against your drawing.
Thickness affects how the spring bends under load. If the requested size is unavailable, we will discuss the alternative with you before quoting it as a replacement.
For parts that will be formed, we work from the straight blank dimensions. These may differ from the overall size of the finished spring.
Less Preparation in Your Workshop
We can provide cutting, drilling and other agreed processing before your forming or heat-treatment work.
Send us the drawing with the operations you need completed. We can separate the supplied work from the steps you will handle in your shop.
If later processing includes surface cleanup or grinding, we can account for that in the blank size. This leaves enough material for finishing without adding unnecessary removal work.
